Attachment issue

Hi,

We have created a task issue type in JIRA. In that task, we are trying to attach a file. One is not able to attach the file while some other person is able to attach the file. Why is this happening ? I have checked the file and directory permissions/ownership in attachments folder in jira home.

The error received by the person not able to attach the file

Cannot attach file HydraStore_Estimation_Sheet_Dev_LowPriorityReclaimationfeature_2012_07_27.xls: Unknown server error (403).

Check the jira log file. The error 403 simply means the server is failing to return much to the user's session, so you need to look at what is going wrong on the server.

If one person can attach the file, then the permissions on the directory are not a problem (Jira runs as a single user on the operating system, it's irrelevant which Jira-user-account is attaching things)
