Attached Figma link disappears when moving ticket to another board column

Hi everyone,

I’m running into a strange issue in Jira and wanted to check if anyone else has seen this before or knows a fix.

When I attach or paste a Figma design link into a Jira ticket using the + for add design, everything looks fine at first. But as soon as I move the ticket to another board column (for example from In Progress to Done), the Figma link disappears from the ticket.

This happens consistently and makes it hard to keep design references attached across workflow stages.

Has anyone experienced this?

Any help or where to check would be appreciated.

We're having this exact same problem. We've had to start putting the design link into the Jira description. This "fix" doesn't exist for us-we started having this problem right around the time the fix was released.

• Fix reported by Atlassian: A recent, widespread issue causing Figma links to disappear has had a fix released. Try refreshing your Jira page to see if the links reappear.
• Remove and re-link: If links are still missing, try removing the Figma design from the Jira app panel and re-adding it.
• Alternative link method: If the Figma Design section continues to fail during transitions, use a regular "Web Link" to attach the Figma file to the issue, which is more stable than the design widget.
