Attach .msg file. Then click the link. No OPEN option found.

If you attach a .msg Outlook email item, and later click on the link to open the .msg file, we only get "Do you want to save" popup in IE11. We used to get "Do you want to open or save" popup before. We did download and apply some patches. Has anyone seen this?

Hi there!

We actually faced this same issue and we have a solution for it. It automatically detects .msg and .eml attachments in Jira and renders them properly as full email content directly in the preview, rather than showing a broken/unsupported file view.

Workaround: With Firefox you'll get the OPEN-Button.
