You are a new project manager on a software development team. The team you were assigned to is very disorganized. You talk to your team, and they say that they keep getting pulled on different priorities. They start working on a task and they must leave it aside to focus on the latest priority. Because of this, they have a lot of tasks on hold.
You also quickly realize that you have no way of knowing what everyone is focusing on, so you don't know what to tell your stakeholders, you're just as blind as they are.
Your first order of business is to schedule a daily 15-minute meeting in the morning so people can talk about what they are working on, their impediments, and what they plan to do next.
To help people visualize their work in this meeting, you need to set up a virtual Kanban board in Jira. (Company Base Set Up on JIRA – otherwise cannot complete the task)
