Assigning stories to the team

Hi all,

I'd value the community feedback as to a Jira "way of work" that my team has suggested:

Becuase there are typically multiple dev channels working on a story (front end, back end, UX, testers), they've suggested to create a custom screen for stories, to allow for all channels and developers working on the story to be added.
They will indiviually then add subtasks under the story applicable to them, and move their subtask to DONE, and remove their name from the main story once complete.
When the final subtask is complete, any one of them can then move the entire story to DONE.

To create the screen, I've added each channel as a "component", e.g. Java, Angular, QA, Automation etc.
This also allows me to use advanced roadmaps to identify the work per channel (component).

I would appreciate all constructive comments before we implement.
