Assigning Work flow

I cant able to assign different workflows for different issues in same project ,please any body can help me.

Hi,

you have to add a new workflow scheme (<your jira-url>/secure/admin/ViewWorkflowSchemes.jspa)

Then add your workflows to your workflow scheme and assign them to the appropriate issue type.

Then assign the new workflow scheme to your project.

I Am sorry to say that i didn't get any solution ,so i will explain my problem in detail.  

let's say we have a project XYZ , and it consists of issue type  123 &456

And 123 consits of WORK FLOW :  start

                                                        In progress

                                                         Done

And by default the above WF is associated to that 2 issues ,

So my requirement is that i want the other WF for 456 ie., start and done . please can you help me from this problem.

As I said, you have to do the following steps:

• create a new workflow with just the two steps
• create a new workflow scheme
• add the existing workflow to the new workflow scheme and associate it to the issue type 123
• add the new workflow also to your workflow scheme and associate it to the issue type 456
• Switch your project's workflow scheme to the new one
