Assignee result after JQL query differs from that of the issue detail page

Robert Han September 26, 2018

Hi I am a newbie here to Jira so please pardon for my question.

I have an issue with the correct assignee set to "Matt Alongi", as you can see in screeshot1.

However, after I run a JQL:

"project in ("Real Estate Multifamily", "Real Estate Single Family", SIR) AND assignee in (cn.jianjun.huang, cn.zhipeng.zhang, cn.tianyuan.liu, cn.jiaze.zeng, cn.mingming.lei, cn.xuechen.cai, cn.guoxing.feng, cn.songling.yao, cn.yi.jiang, cn.xi.sheng, cn.huan.he, cn.li.luo, cn.bo.yu, cn.yanan.liu, cn.yan.xiong, cn.chunmei.tan, cn.zhimeng.liu, cn.dajiang.wang)"

In the result list, the same issue has the assignee set to another person "Dajiang Wang".

I am very confused here, could anybody offer some help? Thanks.

Hi Robert,

I think your screenshot got lost on the way but in general, if you find a mismatch between data provided in the search and on the actual issue your index seems a bit off. So if you can try re-indexing your instance, or try it on a lower level with reindexing the project or transition the issue as there's a system post-function keeping indexes in sync. But I'd suggest a background re-index :)

Best, Max

Thanks, that helps a lot. I would do a background re-index to solve this.
