Assignee missing from tempo-timesheets Slack notification

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
I am using Slack integration to send Slack notifications for workload created/updated. However, all these notifications show Assignee as 'Unassigned' when there is an actual user assigned to the tickets. Any ideas what could be the issue and how I can fix it?
