On a project, on the active sprint page, the assignee disappears from the ticket when shifting a ticket across the board e.g. from ready to in progress to done.
the shifting the ticket across the board is a dragging and dropping process.
Any ideas on why?

As @John Funk says, you must have a transition that clear the assignee field. Try to update an issue by open it and change the workflow status to see if you have the same behavior.

Hi @Abdirizak Obsiye - You might want to check the transitions to each of those statuses in your Workflow to see if the assignee is getting cleared there.
