Not sure where this was set, but person was setup to be assigned when a particular status is assigned (Ready for QA).

There's no automation rule (that I can find) on my project, but a person is still being set when moved into a particular status (Ready for QA). Any ideas how I can find/disable this, because it's super annoying ha.

Hi @Richard Rivera,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

You may want to check your workflow to make sure the assignee is not set as part of the post function when moving it to Ready for QA.

HI Mikael,

I checekd the workflow and doesn't appear to be anything there.

I went to: Project Settings -> Workflows and on edit don't see anywhere for that status to assign to a particular individual; is there another place I should look?

The post function would be on the transition that takes you to Ready for QA, click on the arrow that takes you to the status and you should see it.

You can also check the history of the issue to see if it gives you a clue as to who is changing the value of the assignee.
