Assign Issues to a sequence of pre-defined Users

We are exploring Jira as a product to capture of issues from our production and non-production (Not software bugs). We are a production company.

We wanted to know if an issue can be assigned to a pre-defined sequence of Users. So each User will mark his comments. Once complete, the assignee changes to the next person in the sequence.

You would need an add-on for it like Power Scripts or ScriptRunner. These add-ons let you automate Jira by writing scripts. Power Scripts uses its own language called SIL and ScriptRunner uses groovy.
