Asana integration - deleted tasks still exist

Hello everybody!

I am currently setting up an integration between Asana and Jira. Eveything works great, including double-sided sync (set up in Asana), that updates tasks and issues between systems.

The only problem I came across is that, when task is deleted in one of the tools, it still appears in the other one (only without connection).

Ex. When I delete tasks in Asana - the same issue (that is connected to deleted task) is still there.

Do you know what can be done, to help delete tasks in the other system accordingly? Or any rules idea to help organize it?

The account needs Jira delete permissions on the project where you would like to delete issues.  Does the account you connected Jira to Asana with have these permissions?
