Hello @Frank Mormino

Converting an issue to an Epic and converting an issue to a Sub-task are two different types of operations.

Are you working with a Company Managed project or a Team Managed project?

If you are working with a Company Managed project, check the permission scheme assigned to the project. Look at the permissions for issues such as Edit issue and Move issue. Are you assigned to a user group or role that is granted those permissions. Being a Jira Admin or in the Project Admin or Project Lead roles for the project does not necessarily automatically give you those permissions.

You can also try using the Permissions Helper to check if Jira thinks you are granted those permissions in the specified project for the specified issue.

Using the permissions helper i was able to identify which permissions were the reason why i couldn't access the move issue type.

Thanks!!
