Are there any time tracking options for Jira hosted via data center?

Every tool I have come across thus far has been for Cloud-based Jira. Thank you in advance!

Here's a good starting point on the Atlassian Marketplace.

Hope this helps!

Hello @Mana Rasoulzadeh ,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

I want to suggest to you our application called “Worklogs - Time Tracking and Time Reports”. In accordance with your needs, our app allows you to track your and your colleagues logged time in the Data Center Jira instance.

Worklogs allows you to precisely filter the company’s logged work with a wide range of filters such as users, issues, issue types, labels and more. Additionally, you can display the data for a specific date range with a breakdown by day, week, month or year.

It's worth noting that the app uses Jira's native time tracing and time logs, meaning that any time tracked previously with this method before its installation will be present in Worklogs.

Moreover, you can save the filtered worklogs as a report and then export it to a spreadsheet XLSX file or send a link to such file to other team members or paste it into issues.

Worklogs also offer a variety of additional options such as changing the time unit, timezone, hiding non-working days and more:

If you haven't tested our app yet, I invite you to do so - it looks like it should meet your requirements. You can also book a demo with one of our experts and we will showcase the app and answer any questions you might have, or you can contact us through the portal here.

Glad to help!

Hi @Mana Rasoulzadeh

Welcome to the Atlassian community !!

As you are looking for a tool, you can try out our plugin.

Agile Tools

Through the app you can track time spent by resources with multiple filters / category / grouping features. Also the timesheet module allows to view/enter your time spent for multiple days

The app has multiple other features which are very useful in project tracking and management.

(Disclaimer: I work on RVS, the vendor for this app)

Hi @Mana Rasoulzadeh

Marketplace defaults to showing Cloud version of apps, but you can switch to DC version of the app using the dropdown on the right side of the page as sown in the below screenshot.

There are lots of time tracking apps for Jira DC. When you visit the main marketplace page, you can also use the "Hosting Filter" to show only DC version of the apps.
I also want to recommend our own time tracking solution, WorklogPRO. We really appreciate if you could give it a try. You can try it for free.

Hi @Mana Rasoulzadeh,

Jira Data Center provides time tracking capabilities like Jira Cloud. Things like time estimates on Jira issues, or logging worked hours are possible in Jira Data Center too.

What do you need more exactly?

Danut.
