I am trying to not only get myself up-to-speed on Jira, but prepare a document for basic user training for our team as well. A downloadable PDF file would be a great asset to have in order to save myself time in preparing to train our team.
The documentation and the training offered by Atlassian is not available via PDF. Some of the courses have PDF resources that can be downloaded. I believe that this is by design so that users can always have the most up to date information. I would suggest using the free trainings provided here: https://training.atlassian.com/free-training-catalog These can be distributed and you would not have to create anything or have to worry about keeping it up to date. Then create documentation that is unique to your internal process and procedures. This could include how you move issues through your workflows, expectations around collaboration/teamwork and how the application supports that, etc.
