  • Applied rules using Automation on transitioning the status to make Comments mandatory, but it’s still not reflecting when checked by creating a dummy ticket.
  • The sequence of Statuses is done at the Workflow end but it’s still not working/reflecting under the Status field.

Hello @KOKALA SANTHOSH KUMAR

Welcome to the community.

When you need help with an Automation Rule, we need you to post the full details of the Automation Rule and the contents of an Audit Log entry that was created when the rule was executed.

There is not enough detail in your post for us to help with your problem.

What are you trying to accomplish with the automation?

If I understand your first bullet correctly, you want to require a comment be entered when an issue changes statuses. You cannot do that using an Automation Rule. Automation Rule are triggered after the completion of an event, not by an event being initiated. If you want to require a comment entry when an issue status is changed, you need to attach a Screen to the Transition(s) in the workflow and include the Comment field on that screen. You then need to add a Validator to the Transition(s) to require the Comment field not be empty.

I don't understand the problem you are trying to describe in your second bullet. Perhaps if you include screen images of your Workflow and what you see in the Status field that will help us understand.
