Hi
I am trying to connect Jira Cloud with Gitlab using DVCS connector. Important to mention is, we are using GitLab on prem and is not accessible from the outside jet (will be soon)
I am following this article (not relevant for my question https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/integration/jira/dvcs.html#configure-jira-for-dvcs)
As a prerequisite, I need to set up an application link in jira following this article
https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/linking-gitlab-accounts-1027142272.html
I also wonder because there are a some discrepancies between some options in the article and the jira cloud solution. Even though I assume to be under the right option (Grear -> Products -> Integrations -> Application links)
If you click on "Create link" there is no External application > Outgoing link. I select now "Direct application link"
Now my issue / problem. After entering my application name, a form opens. According to the Atlassian article (Copy the Redirect URL. You’ll use it in GitLab in the next step.), I would expect the field redirect URL appearing.
There is no field and no URL, which on the other hand I'm going to need for my GitLab api token.
Did I miss something?
Screenshot from the article showing the redirect URL
My form I got not showing any redirect URL information.
Does anyone have experience in connecting Jira cloud with an on prem Gitlab?
Thanks a lot for any hint :)
