Hi,

Error message complete:

App update required

Your app Check It for Jira (Issue Checklist) is no longer working as it uses a deprecated platform feature. Please check if an update for this app is available through Atlassian Administration, or ask the app developer to upgrade the app. If the app is listed on the marketplace, contact the developer using the Support tab.
There is not update and not support.
Any suggestion for recovering the list of the checklist before this update breaks everything?
Thank you

Hi @María José Cascales Gálvez,

I’d also recommend checking the app’s documentation (you can find the link on the app’s Marketplace page). It may include alternative contact options or instructions for exporting your checklist data.

If you're open to evaluating other apps, it might be helpful to keep in mind how the app is built. If security and data control are essential for your team, it’s worth looking at apps built on Atlassian Forge. They run entirely within Atlassian’s infrastructure, with no external data processing.

One such option is the Checklist for Jira Cloud app, which our team works on. It supports features like nested items and multiple checklists per issue that might be of help if you're looking for something similar to what you had before.

Feel free to contact us if you need help.

Hi @María José Cascales Gálvez ,

Welcome to the community!

I'm sorry about your experience.

If you would like an actively maintained App for your list, I suggest you take a look at Checklist for Jira. It has both a free and a paid version.

With Checklist for Jira, you can assign an item to a user and also set due dates.

Checklist for Jira also provides you with the ability to automate processes using the Checklist and also validate that all items are completed before an issue is transitioned.

I'll be happy to give you a tour of the App. Please reach out here.

:- I work with the Vendor for this App.

Hi @María José Cascales Gálvez ,

Welcome to the community !!

Go to your jira admin settings --> Apps (direct url: https://<yourDomain>.atlassian.net/plugins/servlet/upm) and see what is the proper app name for checklist.

Now got to https://marketplace.atlassian.com/ search for the app and go to app page -->Support section. Here you can find the contact details of app company and contact them with your error message.

Hi Rilwan,

I followed the error message instructions, but unfortunately, it states that Platter is deactivated and offers no support. Do you have any other suggestions? Deprecating a tool without warning, resulting in the loss of information like my checklist items, is a significant issue.
