We have lot's of Freshdesk tickets that need to make their way into Jira. The same fields exist on both sides, however, there is no automated process to fill those Jira fields with the values from the same fields in Freshdesk, nor anything that allows field mapping within the integration, so it becomes a time consuming manual process. Anyone has done that kind of mapping with API and wouldn't mind sharing how they achieve that?
I’m going through this right now. CSV import is challenging especially where fresh desk is concerned. Moreover freshDesk does not make it easy to get historical notes. I’m going to be reaching out to a migration service I found on the marketplace and chatted with previously. You might want to give them a shout.
What app or process are you using to try to get the two of them to talk to each other?
