Any added link in the issue description opens in the current tab

In the issues assigned to me, if there are any link attached (for example: sometimes the project manager gives me figma links), I have to copy the link and open it in a new tab. Or, alternatively, I have to press CTRL and click on the link to open it in a new tab.

It is painful sometimes because when I am working, I don't always remember that I have to press CTRL. As a result, my current tab opens the link and I have to go back to see my issue again or I have to open a new tab.

This should be a simple solution, I believe, but very necessary.

I could see the feature request is created for the same and it is in the review stage. I would suggest you vote on the issue and add yourself as a watcher to the ticket so if there is any update on the link it will notify you.

I think as of now you need to follow the alternative method which you have mentioned like press CTRL and click on the link.
