Am I able to have a checkbox field type with cascading fields?

I know that I can make a select list with cascading options but I want to know if I can make a checkbox field where multiple entries might have options under them. Basically I want to know if I can do this: 

☐ Option 1

    ☐ Option 1a

    ☐ Option 1b

☐ Option 2

    ☐ Option 2a

No, checkboxes cannot be combined with a cascading field.
