Hi,
I'm currently using Atlas CRM, but I need to replace it due to data residency requirements.
I use Atlas CRM only for basic customer information such as company name, contact details (name, email), and roles. I export the data and use the email addresses to send newsletters to my clients.
I add companies and contacts to my projects in Jira Software. Unfortunately, I cannot add contacts in Jira Product Discovery, which would be very helpful.
I do not use Atlas CRM for sales tracking, offers, or similar activities, so my needs are quite simple.
I expect to start using Jira Service Management Cloud in the near future, and I have been told that it might be possible to build a simple CRM using Assets, so that is something I am considering.
However, until then I need a solution with data stored in Europe.
Can anyone recommend an app that could cover these needs?
Hi @Lene Riis Jeppesen!
I’m with the Teamlead team, and I’ve been looking into your case. Since Data Residency is your top priority, I can confirm that we host our data in Frankfurt, Germany (you can find all the technical specifics here: https://docs.teamlead.one/crm-for-jira-cloud/Working-version/data-residency).
Actually, CRM for Jira seems to match your "simple needs" perfectly. It’s light on sales features but heavy on integration, so it works natively with Jira Product Discovery and JSM — exactly what you were looking for.
You won't lose your "Role" data either, as you can just set up a custom field for it in a couple of clicks. It makes exporting clean contact lists for your newsletters very straightforward.
If you’d like to see how it handles your specific JPD workflow, I’m happy to show you a quick demo or answer any questions here. You can find our app on the Marketplace: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211588/crm-for-jira-customers-sales?hosting=cloud&tab=overview .
Hope this helps with your transition!
Hello @Lene Riis Jeppesen
You could look at Mria CRM: CRM for Jira Teams.
One important point for your requirement: Mria CRM is a Runs on Atlassian app. This means customer data is stored inside Atlassian’s cloud (the same environment where Jira stores your project data) rather than on a separate vendor server.
So if your Jira site is configured to keep data in the EU region, the CRM data follows the same residency setup as your Jira data.
For the use case you described, Mria CRM supports:
storing companies and contacts (name, email, role, etc.)
linking those records to Jira issues, projects, and boards
using the same customer information in Jira Service Management
If you only need basic customer records without sales functionality, you could also check Mria Contacts: Contact Management in Jira & JSM. It focuses specifically on structured contact and company management inside Jira and JSM, without CRM or sales features.
So, depending on how far you want to go:
Mria Contacts → simple contact & company management
Mria CRM → full CRM with sales capabilities inside Jira

Hi Yuliia,
1) How does Mria Contacts and Mria CRM work with Jira Product Discovery?
2) Can I add custom-fields?
3) I believe I can export data as well. Right?

@Lene Riis Jeppesen thanks for the questions.
Jira Product Discovery
Unfortunately, not yet. Jira Product Discovery still has technical limitations around Marketplace app support and public API access, so proper support is currently not possible from our side. Once Atlassian opens this up further, we definitely plan to support it.
Custom fields and export
These are not available yet. We are currently in an active development phase, and our roadmap is largely customer-driven, so we prioritize features based on what users request most.
You’re very welcome to try the app and share what is most important for your workflow. Requests sent to our support team are something we actively review and use to adjust roadmap priorities.
Best regards,
Yuliia

Hi!
You can actually use Crmble for that. We’re a Spanish company with data residency in Europe, ensuring compliance and data security.
With Crmble, you can:

Let me know if there’s anything else you may need from our side!

I think if you start using an app and already have the plan to replace that with Jira Service Management in the future, you create an avoidable data migration problem for yourself.
If your "main" Atlassian organization is not ready to introduce JSM yet, why don't you just create a temporary site for yourself, just for this dedicated purpose?
If you have a JSM project on the temporary site, it will be trivial to migrate a project between two sites later.
