Planning Board showing following message:
The backlog can only display up to 5,000 issues at a time. Move or delete issues to continue using your backlog.
Hello @Kunjan Giri
The message you are seeing is completely correct.
Jira is simply providing you with factual information and telling you what to do about it... so, just do what the message tells you to do.
Thank you for the prompt and clear instructions! I appreciate the information and will proceed accordingly.

Welcome to the community @Kunjan Giri ,
It may not be directly related to your issue, but there has been a ticket that was recently opened: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-25918.
The suggestion is to ask the Atlassian support to solve this issue.
If you can accept the answer, I would greatly appreciate it.
BR,
Nikola

Hello @Nikola Perisic
JSWCLOUD-25918 was to fix a bug that caused the Board's settings page to not load if a user had more than 5,000 issue. It was not to increase the number of issues past the 5,000 limit, which is what the OP is asking about.

Thank you @Nikola Perisic for responding. Yes I wanted to know if the limit can be increased but after looking onto JSWCLOUD-25918 ticket and the workaround, can this only be done if I raise technical support ticket and can you guys mention where can I raise the ticket because I am not able to raise ticket in atlassian site. Thank you again

You didn't read that bug report properly. The workaround described was only needed UNTIL that bug was fixed, and that bug was fixed in November last year.
Also, since that bug had NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with increasing the number of issues the backlog can display, you would be wasting your time rasing a support ticket.
The Backlog absolutely, positively, conclusively, will not display more than 5,000 issues at once, exactly as the error message is telling you.
I think this is just about as about as clear as I can make it Kunjan.
