Hello @vadikon
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
When you are using a Scrum board, all the issues in the column farthest to the right on the board will be considered "complete" when the sprint is completed. Those issues will no longer show in the Backlog screen and will not be available to assign to another sprint.
If that does not explain what you experienced, please provide more details.
When the sprint was closed, did you get a pop-up telling you how many issues where incomplete, and prompting you to elect to move them to either the backlog or another sprint?
Hello Trudy,
as mentioned - incomplete issues did not move to the next sprint, nor the backlog.
All of Not Started issues are no longer visible. In other words - all of the tickets from Sprint 10 are no longer visible regardless of their status.

Can you provide screen images of your board and your backlog screens? You can obscure the details of the issues.
Are you working with a Team Managed project or a Company Managed project? That information displays at the bottom of the panel on the left when you are viewing the board.
Can you show us the board configuration screen where Statuses are mapped to columns?
If you are working with a Company Managed project, can you show use the Filter used for the board?
Do you have any quick/custom filters activated when you are viewing the information?
In my experience with both Company Managed project Scrum boards and Team Managed project scrum boards, when you click the Complete sprint button then you always get a pop-up that tells you the number of issues completed and the number that remain incomplete. If you clicked the Complete button on the scrum board and did not get that pop-up, then that is a problem that also needs to be investigated.

Company managed one, no filters used at the moment.
I believe issue lies under the not appearing pop up on sprint completion.
Thank you for your input.

Do you know the issue IDs of any of the incomplete issues from the completed sprint?
Can you search for those issues from the "View all issues" screen under the Filters menu?
You can also search for the issues based on that previous sprint, using sprint=NameOfSprint, and that should show you a complete list of all the issues that were in that sprint regardless of whether they were complete or not.
Can you show us an example of an issue you considered incomplete? I would like to be able to see the Status and Resolution (if it is set) for such an issue.
