A bit difficult to explain what I need without pictures but I can try.
I have a Plan. In the Plan Timeline I have 4 levels of issues. Goal(custom)->Epic->Task->Sub-task
I have a column for progress.
When I close sub-tasks, the progress bar for the parent task is updated. But it is not updated for the parent Epic nor the parent of the Epic.
So the problem is that I cannot see the aggregated progress at the Goal level when I close sub-tasks and task without children. Only when I close Epics.
Maybe there should be a Total Progress field?
Or is there another way to see the total progress at highest level?
ahh, I found out that the Progress(days) will work even better for me
Hey Michal!
Unfortunately, my plugin Focus Flow doesn’t currently track progress at the Goal level, but this could definitely be a future development step for the plugin.
I’d like to cover many use cases, so any ideas on how it can be applied are welcome.
However, right now, you can see how focus and progress are distributed across Epics. Focus Flow doesn’t just show a percentage — it visualizes effort distribution over time, helping to explain why some Epics get stuck at 90% when the team shifts focus elsewhere.
Here’s how it looks:
