After installing Bamboo I can't login to ?Jira itself

After installing Bamboo as part of Stage 7 of the Dragon Slaying (http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/ATLAS/Dragons+Stage+7+-+Install+Bamboo) I can login to all application installed so far using the shared user ("charlie") EXCEPT Jira itself.

The applications I login to are: Confluence, Fisheye, Bamboo.

Trying to look through Jira's log all I see is:

2012-02-06 17:33:52,356 http-8080-1 charlie 1053x66x1 - 172.20.3.110 /rest/gadget/1.0/login The user 'charlie' has PASSED authentication.

And absolutely nothing else.

Any thoughts?

Deleting all cookies from that page (no "clear cache" but going through the cookies list in "Page Info" and deleting them) allowed me to login successfully.
