After JIRA Upgrade, Create Project Templates are Lost

Hello,

We had two templates created to create a project in JIRA, before the JIRA update with new layout it was working fine. Now it is not showing an option to select those templates at the time of project creation. Our rest of the flow in JIRA is dependent on these template layouts only. Currently we are not able to see previous settings/flow in new projects.

Can any one provide information on what happened to templates and guidance to make it working as it was ?

Do you mean the "type of project" selection dialogue when you click "create project"?  Or are these templates something else?

Not sure about "type of project", it is named "Templates" with new project creation and allowed us to select template value from the drop-down.

Currently it just "Agility" fixed value next to Templates label and doesn't show drop-down to select from multiple options.

Sorry, I'm being a bit dense (Friday afternoon, the cold beer is calling me), but could you explain a bit more?  You click on create project and get what on screen?  (Screenshot would probably kick my memory into working properly)

Here is the link of screen shot which shows existing screen, earlier it allows us to select different templates from drop-down list.

Why the drop-down menu is not showing for templates? and the template is fixed to Agility?

Ah, yes, I'm with you now.  Are you a full Jira administrator in this system?

Older versions of Jira did not let non-administrators create projects.  So you were an admin before.

The latest version lets users create their own projects, but only of Agility type.

I just checked with administrator rights and now it allows me to select template. I tried with administrator rights before, at that time it was not allowing me to select any option, looks like the issue is gone now with admin access. Thanks.
