Hi Everyone,

I'm just working on setting up some filters on a sprint board, and I have this scenario:

Project A is made up of Epics, and Project B has tasks that relate to Epics in Project A.

The Epics in Project A have a custom field of a pick list of values.

Is it possible to create a filter on Project B sprint board, that will only show tickets that have the Parent Epic[custom field] value of "abc"?

Is this type thing possible with Jira filters?

Thanks!

Hi @nccdavidharris Is the new Parent field already rolled out to your site or do you still see the Epic Link field?

Hi there @Dave Mathijs ,

Thanks for the follow up.

I can see 3 "Parent" type fields there:

  • parent
  • parentEpic
  • Parent Link - cf[10018]  - Question:does the "cf" indicate it's a custom field?
