Advanced Roadmaps isn't evenly distributing effort across weeks (Kanban)

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
This is for a Kanban team:
I have an issue that is 20d of effort. This task is assigned to Team A, which have a capacity of 10d per week. If I schedule this task to run over two weeks, I expect this to fill up 2 weeks of capacity, 10 days per week, but for some reason, it appears to put 2 days in week 1 and 18 days in week 2.
There are no other issues scheduled for those two weeks.
Is there a setting somewhere that dictates this strange behaviour. I've tried the same in new projects and with a fresh plan, but I always end up with the same.
