I have created a plan and assigned points / sprints to stories in the plan for the ones that did not have those in Jira yet. How can I updated my plan to reflect actual date from Jira and / or clear the overrides that are only in the plan.
When you make changes to issues through Plans, you will have this Review Changes option. Click on it to apply changes made in Plans directly to Jira issues.
Hope this helps you.
@Fernando Eugênio da Silva I am actually looking at how to go the other way around - my plan is a place holder with estimates for story points and sprint assignment. When the team actually goes through refinement and estimates the efforts, we plan the actual sprint we do that in JIra and I would like to have info from Jira update Advanced Roadmap plan since that is where the actual vs forecasted work is happening. For example, a story that is still in discovery does not have assigned points in Jira - I include it in the plan and give it 13 points as an estimate so I can project completion based on team capacity, etc. Couple weeks later team reviews the story and estimates it at 8 points in Jira. How can I have Advanced Roadmap now reflect 8 points vs initial estimate of 13? I tries bulk updates to clear plan's sprint assignment and points but that just zero those out and does not pull the actual info from Jira. Hope this makes sense!

When you update the field in Jira, this same value should automatically be replicated in Advanced Roadmaps. This is the default behavior and it happens, I just tested it with the same Story Points field.
What could be happening is the following:
You made a change to the Story Points field through Advanced Roadmaps and did not discard or save the changes. So when you changed it in Jira, the value was not updated in Advanced Roadmaps because through the Plans interface, it is displaying something user selection.
You need to ensure that in 'Review change' there is no change associated with the Story Points field, so it will consume the Jira value normally.
If you change the value in Jira and Advanced Roadmaps also has a pending change for the same field, Advanced Roadmaps will prioritize the selected value in itself.
You need to disregard changes made to Adv Roadmaps or apply those changes to Jira. If you apply to Jira, it will replace the current value of the field.
Hope this helps you
