Hi,
With some inspiration from threads in the Community I was able to create an automation that copies a created comment to the parent. This works successfully.
However, if a second (or third) comment is created in the same child issue, this new comment is not copied to the parent though as a new comment.
How can I achieve this?
My automation looks like this:
Welcome to Atlassian community!
Please review the comment action in your rule. There's a checkbox that states something similar to: 'Prevent duplicates by adding this comment only once.'
You must uncheck this to ensure multiple comments are added by this rule.
Thanks!
That was exactly the fix! Can't believe that I overlooked that one.
Many thanks!
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Hi @Annemarie Lankheet !
Rule look ok. Can you show how looks audit log for those moments where comment is not copied to parent?

Seba
