Is there a way to make the Kanban cards from a Software project match the design that is implemented in Business Projects? Seems silly to have the two be different with no way of enabling this in software projects. In Business projects, you're allowed to add all kinds of relevant data like 'last updated', 'sub-tasks', 'estimate', 'priority', etc. None of this is allowed in Software projects.
Hello @Paul
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
If you are working with a board created for a Company Managed Software project, or a board created from a Saved Filter, then you can add up to three fields to the display of the cards. This feature is found in Board Settings > Layout > Card Layout. I cannot confirm that all fields or all field types are available to be added.
This is not currently available for Team Managed Software projects where you are using the board that is native to the project. There is a change request about that to which you can add your vote.
Hi @Paul,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
Currently that is not possible in a Software project. And the reason behind the differences between a software project and work management project is that they used to be two different products before they were united under Jira last year. I would expect that we will see more features in work management to be integrated in software projects in the near future.
