Adding custom-pre-made filters/Configuring pre-made filters

Hi there,

is there any possibility to add/alter pre-made filters?
I would like to add "components" to the set of pre-made filters.

I am aware of the possibility to add the components as "quickfilters", but that secition is getting heavily clogged if I do so.

Saved filters are used for many different things in Jira, and so knowing the context is valuable.  Additional conditions for components can be added, and...

How are these filters you want to update used: for Jira boards, for dashboards, for scheduled subscriptions, etc.?

For board and dashboard changes, the filters could be updated, and you would want to discuss any changes with their owners to understand the impacts.  Same thing for filter subscriptions.
