Adding an issue type above Epic

Team Varolio June 5, 2023

Hey People, anyone knows how do i add an issue type "Feature" that is above Epic so i can add epics under "Feature" and user stories under "Epics"? i want that when i add issue to my roadmap it will be "Feature" by default and i could add all the layers beloew it - epics, and then stories/bugs/tasks.  It's extreamly difficult to understand and i cant find any solution.

Hi @Team Varolio , welcome to the community and thanks for your question.

The issue type hierarchy is configured at the Jira system settings level, issue menu.

Upcoming - Rename ‘epics’ in your company-managed projects (atlassian.com)

You can read more about how to manage these settings here ^.

I hope this helps but if not, please give us your feedback and either I or someone else will try to assist.

Cheers
