Adding a sub-tasks of Bug in a story card

As bugs are identified during testing, is there a way the bug can display on the same row as the story, vs being under the "Other Items" on the sprint board?

Are you working with issues in a Team Managed project or a Company Managed project?

The built in Bug issue type is a level 0/standard level issue, same as a Story, and so will display on the board in a similar fashion.

For a Company Managed project the Jira Administrators could create a Bug Sub-task type of issue. If you used that, then the Bug Sub-tasks would display in the board like other Sub-task, and in all ways handled the same as Sub-tasks.

It is not currently possible to have multiple types of Sub-tasks in Team Managed projects.
