I would like to link a page to a sprint. I know how to do this, however, I cannot add a page in the first place. I need a page because I want a high level summary of each sprint, issues that arise, etc., in an easily digestible format. Although there are many useful Jira fields, I want to be able to post general sprint updates ( not story specific -- Sprint specific ).If you have another recommendation, that would be great as well.
Hello Alana,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
In order to link a Confluence page to a Sprint, it's necessary to use a Classic project.
You mentioned that you know how to do but you can't add, so I'm not sure if you are using a Classic or a next-gen project.
If it's indeed a next-gen, there is a feature request suggesting to implement this ability:
If that's not the case, can you please let us know more details about why you can't add the page?
As per I could understand, you also need the page to be automatically updated with information from the sprint, is that correct?
Regards,
Angélica
Hi Angelica! Thanks for your response and sorry for the delay. I am indeed using a classic project and figured out how to add a page. Unfortunately, our subscription does not include this add-on.
I want to determine another way that we can add a description to a sprint. Our backlog contains all of our sprints with their specific stories and tasks. It would be really helpful if there was a way to write a short description about a sprint and link a Box folder where we have all of our sprint documentation. We have story-level descriptions already and utilize them to their fullest capacity. Thoughts?

Thank you for the details, Alana.
It's possible to add a description to a Sprint that will show on the backlog and also on the Board.
On the backlog, click on … > Edit sprint.
On Sprint goal you can add a short text and update.
I tested here adding a link using wiki markup or just the URL, but it doesn't make the text clickable, so you can add a link to the documentation, but it will be necessary to copy the link and paste on the browser to open it.
There is a feature request suggesting improvements for the Sprint Goal field:
