Hi,
I´m searching for a solution to add a custom drop-down-field to a scrum board to track the status of different Teams in Jira without any extra plugin.
The scenario is, when I choose Team A from the field I would like to see the board from Team A.
Is there a way to add such a field maybe to the sidebar of the project board and how can I add the functionallity to the field that when I choose a special Teamname it will show me the Teamboard.
Thanks in advance
You can use 'quick filters' from board's > configure and set filters like 'field=teamA' .
So when you click on filter name teamA, it lists the tickets in the boardboard has the field value as teamA
yes thanks, that`s something I also found out but I hoped that there would be annother way without any extra plugin like portfolio.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Ismail’s option is most commonly used. Two additional options from most common to less common:

Hi, thanks for the answer. The solution with the different board is something we would also choose. But it´s actually not clear to me how swimmlanes can help me to choose a special team in jira. By the way when I want to define teams in Jira, I would define them with groups, right? Because I found no option where I can directly define a team, just a group.
Thanks for help.

why not simply do as @Ismail Zaf elluded to:
this allows you to quickly filter on one or more teams.
