Add fixVersion field to issues in a single project

We're using the new issue view, and fixVersion is not listed when editing issue layouts in our project.

Our Jira admin isn't super knowledgeable about Jira yet, so is reluctant to go buggering around with the settings without confirming our plan will work.

Our project uses the System Default Field Configuration. If I clone that, then apply the clone to our project, then add the fixVersion field to all the Screen Schemes that our project uses, that should allow us to add the field to issues in that project, right?

Hello,

You should add the Fix Version field to issue screens (either create or edit issue screens or both). You can add a field to a screen in Project Settings -> Screens.

After it you will be able to edit this field in issues.
