Add custom values in default field in issue type

Currently the status field in an issue type (Story or Bug) has three values i.e. To Do, In Progress and Done. For my project, I want to add the below custom values.

Smoke Test
Smoke Test Passed
Smoke Test Failed
Ready For Test
Verified
Failed

I dont see a means to do it under Project settings/Issue types. Is it possible to add custom values? Can you please point me in the right direction?

Hi @dhruv.chheda,

Welcome to Atlassian Community.

Your project is set up using the Next-gen templates, and as such you cannot modify the workflows (is on the roadmap for 2020). You would need to create a new project using a classic template, that would allow you to change the workflow so you can add the statuses you want.
