Hi! We need to add custom field that we are using on a project as a column in a project's filter, but when we are open the list with all fields by clicking the button "Configure columns" in project's filter settings - there is no custom field to select.
You cannot add a custom field as a column on a project board. Columns are always mapped to the status field. You have a couple options for custom fields:
Create a Quick Filter to display data based upon that custom field
Create a swimlane that groups issues by your custom field
Add the custom field as metadata on the issue card
Ahh - Sorry for the confusion. When you mention "column" and "board" my brain goes to the columns configuration.
It looks like this isn't possible currently from the Project >> Issues screen that you're on. I get this message:
We're still building support for configuring all fields as columns. Switch to the old issue search to add all fields as columns
The line Switch to old issue search is linked and takes me out of the project issues screen back to the general search. I'm not sure why your screenshot isn't showing the same message, but it appears that it is not quite at that level yet for customization.
