Add alias participants to an issue

Hello,

I am starting to work with JIRA and was wondering how do I add a team's alias email as participant/watcher to an issue? thanks!

You can also use a third party app which supports emailing arbitrary recipients like https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211069/notification-assistant-for-jira-email?hosting=datacenter&tab=overview We support either hardcoded email addresses, or you can use a text field where you have your users type the email alias.

You will need to create a dummy user with that email address.
