Description:
When viewing issues in the Jira Cloud list/issue navigator, columns like "Labels" truncate values and show a "+1" or "+2" badge when there are multiple labels. There is no way to expand or disable this truncation.
Problem:
Teams that rely on labels for categorization and filtering need to see all labels at a glance without clicking into each issue or hovering over the +N badge. This is especially important when triaging or reviewing a batch of issues, where quickly scanning all labels across many issues is essential.
Proposed solution:
Add a user-level or view-level setting that controls how multi-value fields (like Labels but others as well) are displayed in list view. Options could include:
Truncate (current behavior): Show N labels and a +X badge for overflow
Wrap / Show all: Display all values, allowing the row height to expand as needed
Expand column to fit: Auto-size the column width to show all values on one line
Use case:
As a project manager reviewing a release backlog (e.g., a fixVersion filter with 10+ issues), I need to see all labels on every issue at once to verify correct categorization without clicking into each issue individually.
Impact:
This is a quality-of-life improvement that would benefit any team using labels, components, or other multi-value fields heavily. The current behavior forces extra clicks and slows down bulk review workflows.
