I want to add an automation so that, when a ticket in the backlog transitions to "In Progress", the ticket is moved to the active Kanban board.
What attribute do I set on the ticket that will move it from the backlog to the board?

Welcome to the community.
Are you working with issues in a Team Managed project or a Company Managed project? It will say at the bottom of the navigation pane on the left.
If you are working with a Team Managed project, there is currently no way to do that in automation.
