Add Linked Epics/issues into JQL Query

i am using a JQL query in order to do a bulk operation to convert all issues of a certain type with certain statuses to another issue type. The JQL query currently gets me all the issues i need but in the 'Choose Operation' step i cannot select move issues as it says some are linked to parent epics and can't be moved away. Is there a way to alter the JQL query to include any parent epics or somehow transition the issues and keep the links?

What exactly are you trying to do in this bulk change? You said you are selecting the Move operation, and trying to use that the change the types of the issues you selected. Is that correct?

What are the details of the change you are trying to make? What is the original type(s) of the issues you are trying to convert, and to what type are you trying to convert them?

Are the source issues in a Company Managed project or a Team Managed project?
