Add Insight from Slack to Jira discovery - "Ideas" are not recognized by slack ingetaration

Hello all,
I try to connect Slack with Jira discovery to add insights to ideas.
On the jira discovery support page it is offers to use the "add to issue" with the slack add, however it doesn't seem to work.
While I manage to add comments to issues on "normal" projects, the Slack app doesn't recognize the "ideas" as an Issue and the "Search an issue" remains empty.
Please help with recommendations on how I can add the slack insights to the Discovery project.
