Hello,

Why am I receiving the email below? I already have a Jira product that I purchased and am currently using, and I have made the payment.
Could you please explain the reason? I couldn’t understand it.

Hey, I’ve seen this kind of email before and totally get the confusion.

Even if you already have Jira products running and paid, this kind of message usually pops up when **one specific subscription fails** — in your case, it looks like the payment for **Jira Product Discovery (monthly)** didn’t go through.

Why it happened:
Atlassian tried to auto-charge your saved card (MasterCard ending in 3229) for $8.74, but the payment was declined. This can happen due to:
- Bank blocking international transactions
- Card limit issues or low balance
- Card expired or temporarily blocked

FIX :

1. **Check with your bank** – ask if there’s any issue with international or online charges.

2. **Update your payment details** in Atlassian:
- Go to https://my.atlassian.com
- Sign in → Go to Billing → Manage Subscriptions
- Find Jira Product Discovery and click “Update Payment Details”
- Either re-enter the same card or add a new one

3. Atlassian might retry the payment automatically. If not, you can go to the invoice and pay it manually.

----------------------
If it’s not fixed in time, the subscription might get paused or cancelled. So if you’re not sure whether you want to continue, best to export any important data as a backup.

If nothing works, you can always contact Atlassian support directly

Hope this clears it up.

thank you.
