Hello,
I am a student and I wanted to learn how to use Jira, so I created an account. During the account creation process, I was not asked about a paid and premium plan. After creating the account, I realized it was a premium plan and immediately canceled it within a few minutes. Since I am a student, I really cannot afford to pay, and the premium account was created by mistake, but I canceled it immediately.
Do I still need to pay anything now?

When setting up a new subscription generally those are initiated as a trial and no immediate charges are made.
If you have just recently cancelled the subscription you may still be able to reactivate it and be able to downgrade to the Free subscription through the Billing page at https://admin.atlassian.com.
Alternately you can start a new subscription. Carefully review all the text on each screen, as there will surely be information about the type of plan to which you are subscribing and there should be options to select the plan (Free, Standard, Premium). If somehow you start a trial of one of the paid plans (Standard or Premium), then through the Billing page mentioned above you should be able to Manage your subscription and downgrade it to the Free plan.
