Access role created for one Next Gen project duplicated to all Next Gen projects

I have a client who needs to view their project but none of our other projects. I have done this before with classic projects using schemes, however for next gen projects I had to create a new role which I did for this specific project and added the client, but now if I login as the client I can see all our other next gen projects not just the one the role was created for. Please advise how I can fix this. Thank you :)

Hello Catherine,

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

When we create next-gen projects we can choose if the access will be Private, Limited or Open.

If the projects are Open, all old and new users will be able to access the projects to create and edit issues. If the project is Limited, people will be able to see the tickets only.

Since next-gen projects are independent of other next-gen and classic projects, the roles created will be applied only to the specific project.

In this case, I'd suggest to review the access of other projects and change it either to Private or Limited.

Regards,
Angélica
