Ability to remove workflow status name

Hi ,

I want to remove the marked workflow status descriptions/names left side of the screen shot. How is it possible.? Thanks

Hi @Gnanabaskar ,

You can achieve that by editing your current Workflow, and renaming the transitions (arrows of the Workflow).

By the way you need Jira Administrator permission to do this, so you may have to ask your Jira Admin to do it for you.

I am admin as well.  This is the workflow, I need to remove the Transition labels on the left side of the dropdown. Can you suggest any steps pls ..

You can't remove them completely, you can simply rename them by clicking on your transition (the arrows with the "All" written to the left).

If you really don't want to see them, you can try to rename them with " " or something similar but it's not something I would recommend.

You don't.  The names are there because they tell the user something they probably need to see.  

You could rename your transitions, making them effectively blank, but this is going to cause you problems.  In your own screenshot, how would I know which one of these lines I should be using?
