How come the Trello app for Android automatically converts an abbreviation into a hyperlink?

Can I avoid this somehow?

Ah, ok, it's spotting the . and hence assuming it's a link because it looks like one.

There's nothing you can do about this I'm afraid, it looks like a link to the software.
